Presto is dead from February 1 next year, but Foxtel is hoping subscribers will make the journey across to the newly restructured (and repriced) Foxtel Play.
To incentivise the switch, Foxtel is offering existing Presto subscribers a special $15 per month option including channels part of "Pop" and "Movies" packages. This pricing is valid for a customer's first three months, not counting the two week free trial. After that point, the package is billed at $35 per month, but you can remove the Movies add-on if you want a cheaper option.
Pop includes Showcase, Syfy, Binge, Fox8, Comedy, FX, MTV and 111 Funny, while Movies include Foxtel's range of movie channels.
If you're a Presto subscriber, you'll receive a promo code by email that lets you take advantage of the offer.
If you have any remaining free entitlement on Presto when the service shuts down, you'll receive a credit of equal value on your Foxtel Play account within one week of signing up.
