Still hesitant about making a move to the NBN? For a limited time, amaysim is offering switchers a 'first month free' trial deal, to help assuage customer concerns about the National Broadband Network.
From now through to June 30, new residential customers who sign up to amaysim's NBN plans will receive their first month free when ordering online or over the phone.
How it works (and what you should know)
You'll get the first month of your $60, $70 or $100 amaysim NBN service free of charge, provided you enter the promo code '1MFREE' at online checkout, or mention it to the operator when ordering via telesales.
As amaysim's plans don't include lock-in contracts or activation fees, you're essentially getting a month-long free trial of the service. Customers who are unhappy with their plan can cancel or switch tiers anytime without penalty: making both the plan, and the offer, obligation-free.
Although amaysim's plans are free of setup costs, customers should keep in mind that NBN may charge certain locations a separate New Development fee of $300 when you connect. If this applies to you, amaysim will inform you before you sign anything, and nothing's charged without your express permission.
amaysim offer three NBN tiers: up to 12Mbps for $60 per month, up to 25 Mbps for $70, and up to 100Mbps for $90 per month. All three plans include unlimited data, and you're free to bring your own modem, or buy an NBN-ready model directly from amaysim.
With only around half of NBN-ready homes and businesses currently connected to an NBN plan, the promo - and amaysim's uncomplicated, contract-free plans - are designed to ease new users onto the service.
If you're in search of a month-by-month NBN option that offers commitment-free flexibility, amaysim's one-month trial offer is available now. For more information on the NBN, head to our FAQ-answering guide here.
