Phablet fans rejoice: HTC’s One max is coming exclusively to Telstra on the November 26 with a free Beats Pill speaker up for grabs for anyone who pre-orders before the release date.
The big ‘One’ will be available for $4 per month on Telstra’s $80 Every Day Connect Plan, making $84 in monthly repayments on a 2 year contract. The minimum total cost over 24 months is $2016 for both the phone and the contract.
This is Telstra’s ‘Medium’ Plan and offers $800 of calls, unlimited SMS and 1.5GB of data. A standard call of 2 minutes on this plan costs $2.38, making roughly 672 minutes of call-time to a standard number per month.
Outright purchase of the One max from Telstra will be $816 for the 16GB model.
The One max retains the same great aluminium design that we saw earlier this year in the One and One Mini, but weighs in with a whopping 5.9-inch 1080p screen. HTC also packed in a fingerprint scanner on the rear of the handset for easy, secure access.
