Optus today announced it now includes the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 to its small range of tablets on contract, offering options for customers to purchase the tablet on any of its existing data-only tablet plans.
Across the board, the NotePRO 12.2 will cost $43 per month, or $1032 over 24-months. Customers then choose a monthly data level, starting from 1.5GB for $20 per-month.
This essentially means that Optus is not subsidising the cost of the tablet, with the full price in stores between $1000 and $1100. Optus does offer an interest-free payment option through these plans though, which will appeal to some customers.
To sweeten the deal, Samsung is offering all customers buying a NotePRO tablet $100 cashback.
Samsung Pro-series tablets are the manufacturer’s top-tier slates, with the best of the best hardware, including a quad-core 2.3GHz processor and 3GB RAM. The units sold by Optus come with 32GB internal storage, plus a microSD card slot if you need to add more.
