Vodafone has announced it has switched on its first 4G towers in the ACT, with plans to soon expand its current footprint.
The faster network is now servicing parts of a number of suburbs in the nation’s capital, including Acton, Civic, Crace, Downer, Franklin, Greenway, Harrison, Latham, Lyneham, Mitchell, Reid, Tuggeranong and Turner.
These areas are already serviced by Telstra and Optus 4G network coverage.
This announcement follows recent news that Vodafone now has over 1-million subscribers on its Australian 4G networks.
The carrier is also running a generous promotion on its SIM-only plans, offering double data on all plans $35 per month or higher.
