OVO Mobile is giving Australians an even bigger incentive to jump on board its unlimited talk and text plans: included international calling.
If you’re on OVO’s Medium, Large or Extra Large prepaid plans, you’ll now receive up to 500 minutes of calls to 32 countries every 30-day recharge, at no extra cost. That’s up to eight hours of chat each month to frequently-called countries, including the UK, the USA, China, India, and New Zealand.
What you'll get with OVO
Each of the above OVO plans already includes unlimited national calls and texts, plus high-speed data. The Medium plan now gives you 50 international minutes and 2GB of data for $24.95 every 30 days; the $34.95 Large plan includes 300 international minutes and 8GB; and the Extra Large option includes 500 international minutes and 12GB of data for $44.95.
Your overseas minutes are included in the monthly plan price, so customers won’t pay additional international calling costs. If you need more minutes each month to connect with loved ones abroad, need to call additional countries, or are on the Mini or Small plans, you can add OVO Extra credits of $5, $10 or $20 to your account.
OVO also offers its customers unlimited, data-free streaming of sports and live radio through its OVOPlay app. You’ll enjoy unlimited motorsport, gymnastics and water polo any time, plus unlimited streaming of Hit Network stations including Triple M and 2Day FM.
If international calling isn’t a concern, OVO’s smaller plans start at $9.95 for 200 national voice minutes, unlimited texts and MMS and 1GB of data over 30 days. All of OVO’s plans are contract-free and BYO, so you’ll need your own 4G-capable and unlocked smartphone.
International calling is available now on OVO’s Medium, Large and Extra Large plans. For more info on OVO Mobile, start comparing below; or, for other telcos offering international calls, we’ve also compiled a handy guide to options from Amaysim, Optus, Virgin Mobile, Lebara and more.
